1. Exit Internet Explorer

2. Click Start, click Run,
type inetcpl.cpl, and then
press ENTER.
3. On the General tab, click
Delete under Browsing
History in the Internet
Properties dialog box.
4. In the Delete Browsing
History dialog box, click
Delete Cookies.
5. In the Delete Cookies
dialog box, click Yes.
Follow these steps to see if
there are any cookies left:
1. In the Internet
Properties dialog box, on
the General tab, click
Settings under Browsing
History.
2. In the Temporary Internet
Files and History Settings
dialog box, click View
Files. This opens the folder
where your cookie files are
stored.
3. In the folder that has
just opened, verify that
there are no .txt files.
Firefox / Mozilla
Click on Tools, then
Options
Select the Privacy icon in
the left-hand panel
Click on Cookies
Click on View Cookies
To remove a single cookie
click on the entry in the
list and click on the Remove
Cookie button
To remove all cookies click
on the Remove All Cookies
button
Windows Internet Explorer 5 & 6
To delete all cookies:- Open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options.
- Click the Delete Cookies button.
- Click OK.
- Open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options.
- Click the Settings button.
- Click the View Files button.
- Click the View menu and select Details.
- Click the Internet Address column header to sort, then locate the Internet addresses of the cookie files. For example, a cookie Internet address may be named similar to the following: Cookie:user@websitename.com
- Highlight the cookies you wish to delete, then press the Delete key.

- Open Internet Explorer
- On the view menu, click Internet Options, and click the Settings button.
- Click the View Files button.
- Click the View menu and Select Details.
- Click the Internet Address column header to sort, then locate the Internet Addresses of the cookie files. For example, a cookie Internet address may be named similar to the following: Cookie:user@websitename.com
- Highlight the cookies you wish to delete, then press the Delete key.
Macintosh Internet Explorer 4.5 & 5
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
- Expand the Receiving Files category by click the triangle to the left, and click Cookies
- Select the item or cookies you want to delete in the Server list and click Delete.
Windows Netscape 4.x
Netscape bundles all web site cookies into one file. This file cannot be edited. If you wish to remove one cookie, you must remove them all by deleting the cookie file.- Locate the Netscape folder on your hard drive (usually located in c:/Program Files/Netscape/).
- Double click the Users folder within the Netscape folder.
- Double click your Profile Name folder (this will usually be your username).
- Click the cookies.txt file once to highlight it, then click the File menu and choose Delete.
Macintosh Netscape 4.x
Netscape bundles all web site cookies into one file. This file cannot be edited. If you wish to remove one cookie, you must remove them all by deleting the cookie file.- Double click the Hard Drive icon and open the System Folder.
- Double click Preferences and locate the Netscape Users folder.
- Double click Your Profile folder.
- Single click the MagicCookie file so that it is highlighted, click the File menu and choose Move to trash
- Or, drag and the MagicCookie file to the Trash folder.
Netscape 7
- Click the Tools menu and choose Cookie Manager
- Choose Manage Stored Cookies from the submenu. The Cookie Manager window opens with a list of all the cookies stored on your computer.
- Select one or more cookies and click Remove Cookie, or click Remove All Cookies.
Opera for Macintosh
- Click on Window then Special Window and select Cookies.
- You can click the cookie files listed in the folders. To delete a cookie, highlight the file you want to delete. Press the Shift key to select multiple files.
- Click the Delete button.
- The ones remaining will be saved.
